Local Music Live

"The future of British music is dependent on emerging talent"
Local Music Live is here to discover new music talent
in association with Howarth Timber

Are you the next big thing?

We want to hear from you!

Throughout June 2017, Local Music Live brings together lots of English radio stations who love their music LOCAL. They are already working to support it in their communities, now they’re all ready to work with us to TURN THE UP VOLUME.

They’re ready to support LOCAL MUSIC LIVE! Through the month of June, local singers, musicians and bands will be loading up their audio, video, pictures, gigs and information and we’ll make sure we spread the word far and wide.

Our sponsors Howarth Timber & Building Supplies are empowering their 30 branches supported by their brand-new website, to give this their full support - they’ll also be making their top picks, with great prizes to be won. Howarth Timber has a long history of supporting their local communities and Local Music Live is no different!

There’ll be articles offering advice, support and help to budding musicians. LOCAL MUSIC LIVE will be a national on-line portal that supports and promotes local music.

“The future of British music is dependent on emerging talent, both in performance and business. Securing our future depends on the creation of optimum conditions to support young people to become musicians, songwriters, creative technicians and join over 39,000 others who now have jobs in the music business in the UK."

— Andy Heath, Chairman UK Music
