Tom Holland & The Bad Habitz
Tom Holland is a local guitarist/guitar tutor/songwriter, currently looking to set up his own solo band under the name 'Tom Holland & The Bad Habitz' and has nearly enough material for his first album 'Turn It Up'.
Tom has played in several bands over the years. He started off in originals band 'Bone Idle' back in 2009 when living in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Even though his first band was short-lived Bone Idle managed to recorded an album in that time as well as getting their own headline show at the 02 Academy Newcastle.
In February 2011 Tom moved back to his home town of Mansfield to join local band 'Abandon'. During September of that year Abandon travelled over to Boston, Massachusetts to record their album 'On The Fringe' at the recording studio with the same name. From this Tom and bassist of Abandon Mitchell Ryan were both asked to record on a single for Danny McCoy (ex-singer of Mickey Finn's T-Rex) entitled 'Slip Away'. In July 2013 Tom was invited over to play alongside Danny McCoy's T-Rex tribute band in Vienna, Austria in front of a crowd of 10,000. On this day Tom got the opportunity to share the stage with other 70's bands including Slade, The Sweet, Suzi Quatro and Phil Bates' ELO.
In 2015 Tom started going out as a solo act and has been going out under his own name as well as performing cover gigs with Abandon. Tom has since been recording demo's for his first solo album and is seeking a bass player and drummer to join him.
