The Half Eight

The Half Eight are Rock/Pop done right. An energetic, hard hitting, unique band who’s musical style transcends genre stereotypes and heads straight for the epic. Channeling sounds from atmospheric stadium rock to hard hitting power pop that leaves you feeling invincible. Lyrically emotive and musically diverse, their songwriting talents boast a repertoire of commercial, radio ready songs that connect you to a feeling and leave you singing them all day long.

The band also take great pride in their live performance and never fail to provide an explosive and charismatic show that you won't forget. The band, made up of, Ollie, Charlie and James, met at school and began writing songs together and soon after formed The Half Eight. They have already performed to hundreds of thousands of people across the UK alongside artists such as Professor Green, Fleur East, Toploader, Luke Friend, Slade, Bob Geldof and B*witched. Their songwriting has been hailed by Roy Stride (Scouting For Girls) and they have been invited to record at both Embrace's and Guy Chamber's home studio.

They have also had their original music played on BBC RADIO. The band are currently working hard in the studio providing the finishing touches to their debut EP "After Everything", which is due for release very soon and will be available on all streaming and download sites.

The band will be performing across a wide range festivals over the summer months and are planning a headline show at Rough Trade in Nottingham in spring.
